Change Stages

 

When dealing with change, everybody – physically, emotionally, intellectually and/or spiritually – frequently “bounce” between the different change stages. This “bouncing” effect (i.e. Newton’s Cradle Trap) when dealing with change, mainly result from failing to truly understand the essential synchronicity that exists between change processes and the change climate as illustrated in the ADKAR-model of change.

Although there are plenty of reasons, variables and justifications for individuals to misinterpret the realities of change, experience and keen observations, indicate that “Change Blindness“, the absence of a “Common Strata” and a miraculous “shift” belief, are the primary causes of why changeĀ (i) is misunderstood and (ii) frequently fails, especially on a personal level. Generally speaking, change tends to be slightly more successful on a professional level, as a result of a “price tag” attached to change. A collective accepted “tag” which implies… “I will get more money if I succeed in my change efforts“.

In order for you to successfully conduct any change project, you are required to be aware of, know about and UNDERSTAND the change stages (sourcing from the Circle of Life) and the many possible barriers to change. That is, if you would like to ultimately regain authentic control of your life again, and wish to harmonize your interactions with the environment that was disrupted by the many changes “happening” in society today.
